Born and raised in Evansville, IN, living in Indianapolis. Mom of two amazing sons. Happily married to David for over 15 years. I love being alive. I love to laugh. I wear my ear buds and dance and sing around the house while I’m cleaning. I enjoy swimming and strength training. I like to read, I like to play word games like Scrabble and anagram games. I love to spend time with my family.
Several years ago I traded in my Corporate America suit for some comfortable jeans, and made the bold move to stay home with my sons and take care of my husband’s ailing parents, God rest their souls. I became a “streams of income” person. I’m a communications specialist, writer, editor, I.T. consultant, and marketing consultant.
I am finally deciding what I want to be when I grow up. I have re-entered the ranks of the full-time employed, while not completely bailing out on my kids, in the amazing world of Elementary Education. I am the HOSTS Para-Professional at McClelland Elementary School, MSD Wayne Township, Indianapolis, IN. I am a Remedial Reading Instructor to second and third grade students. I am graced with the opportunity to improve literacy in young children through a specialized program called HOSTS (“Help One Student To Succeed”). Do you have 1 hour per week that you can spare?
